My final lamb of nearly 60 lambs left the farm yesterday. I downsized to about half the ewes I lambed this winter. 20 nice ewes remain and my pastures are also feeling the relief. It was a tough decision but with 3 busy kids it was too much, they’re only young for a little while.

We made it to the finish line!!!!!! Beauty of a ewe lamb to end it, I know Wesley will say she’s a keeper. Very successful lambing season, 65 lambs born- only lost a few. Not going to miss the 12:30am barn checks and -30 temps. Older lambs start leaving for new farms next week.
