Wishing everyone a safe and honored Memorial Day.
Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who sacrificed for our country.

🥕 Produce is coming soon!
Everyone has been asking, and we’re excited too. Fresh veggies will start arriving at the stand shortly — stay tuned for updates as each item comes in.

🍫 Back for a Limited Time — Maine Deer Tracks!
Rich espresso ice cream with crunchy toffee pieces and thick chocolate fudge tracks — a fan favorite that’s back for a short run.
Ask your server to pack a quart to take home so you can enjoy it later.

Gooseberry Farms is OPEN and blooming!
While May keeps us busy with flowers, full produce won’t arrive until later this month.

But spring has already delivered one of our favorites — fresh, local asparagus picked daily.

As the season unfolds, we’ll keep you posted on new produce arrivals.

Opening weekend was a success thanks to you!
Your support, smiles, and excitement made our first days back on Gooseberry Rd feel extra special.

We loved seeing so many of you picking out flowers to take home — and yes, enjoying those first ice creams of the season made it feel like spring for real.

Thank you for choosing to shop local. We can’t wait to see you again soon for more blooms, more scoops, and more good days ahead.

🌱 NEW ENGLAND PLANTING GUIDE — READ BEFORE YOU PLANT!
Spring is here, but New England weather is… well, New England weather.🌿

⚠️ COLD WEATHER ALERT FOR GARDENERS
If you’re eager to plant, please be careful — New England is expecting overnight cold that can harm tender flowers and vegetables.
Hold off on tender plants for now — they can be damaged by temps below 40°.

What to Do If You Already Planted Outdoors (New England Cold Weather Guide)
Cover plants overnight - Use anything that traps warmth:

Old sheets or pillowcases - Towels - Light blankets - Frost cloth if you have it

Important: Do NOT use plastic directly on the plant — it traps cold and can burn the leaves.

If possible bring containers inside - Potted plants are the easiest to save.

Check them in the morning - Remove covers once temperatures rise above freezing so plants can get light and air.

Stay cozy and plant smart!
