This is the winteriest winter in recent memory here in the Berkshires. This morning we were reminding each other that the piles of snow and periods of bitter cold all auger a good growing season with fewer pests and diseases. Plus it's beautiful!
In about two weeks we'll be champing at the bit for spring, but for now we're maintaining our winter composure. We're thinking of friends and farmers in areas that are getting hit hard by this winter storm -- hope you're safe and cozy!
