Yesterday we welcomed 2 new comers. Older ducks with diminished mobility. We were hoping to integrate Splash into our main flock at the annex where she could enjoy a pond and large outdoor enclosure but due to her mobility issues the pond is not safe for her and Bubbles mobility is worse than hers so they will remain at the main shelter with our other special needs water fowl. We will need to buy some items to accommodate the special needs but am hoping they thrive

Mavis made it home in the middle of the night. It was a long transport but she’s doing great! When she met the other dogs at 1:30am she immediately wanted to play. She loves everyone she meets. Mavis is very complicated to say the least so it’ll take a bit to figure out her extensive needs but she is already loved (and exhausted LOL) 🥰
