Rob took a shortcut to work this morning over the pallet holding the transplants that were hardening off. Still shocked he did not pierce a tire. Each year there is one variety that we struggle with. Two years ago it was about the white lights, including me w**d eating half a tray. Last year it was the woodchuck’s eating the plums. This year is the year of the horizon that will not ever bloom.

These creamy sunflowers are a bit finicky. They prefer to be transplanted and are thrip magnets so need to be watched closely. This is the White Lite variety and also comes with a dark center called White Nite. I’ve been planning about 100 of each a week as needed. If you would like some for a specific date, give me eight weeks notice.
