Montecito Roadhouse Tortilla Chips Our chips are hand cut, and hand cooked in a kettle fryer. While labor intensive, this process results in an authentic taste and higher quality tortilla chip.

OUR TORTILLA CHIPS
Montecito Roadhouse Tortilla Chips are made from white corn flour that has been made in the traditional way of soaking corn kernels in lime water to remove their skins. They are then removed and placed into a centrifuge and spun to reduce oil, and interleaved with absorbent paper for a minimum of twenty-four hours to remove residual oil. Montecito Roadhouse Tortilla Chips have a

fresh, corn taste. They are thick and stand up to dips, salsas, and guacamole. They are gluten free, low in salt, have no cholesterol, and zero trans fat. Not to say that they are downright healthy – you need to decide that for yourself! We do say that Montecito Roadhouse Tortilla Chips are a snack food that can be quickly turned into a meal. A handful of tortilla chips, piled high with your favorite ingredients, a little cheese, some salsa, and a minute or in the microwave will result in delicious nachos.

Scott Rehart started Montecito Roadhouse in 2007. We have had a good run and appreciate all the support from our customers. As with many businesses, COVID 19 brought many stressors and difficult times. We were forced to rapidly sell our property and decided it was time to retire. We sold the company, Montecito Roadhouse (brand name, equipment, website, customer lists, etc.) to one of our customers, Lakeside Orchards, in Manchester, Maine. He is working on setting up his facility and will start making chips in the near future. We wish him the best and thank everyone for their loyalty and support.

FREE - We have many wooden pallets available: 1102 Bridgton Road (302) in Westbrook by the barns. Many in excellent condition.
Also have lots of broken up pallets good for firewood. Feel free to come by and take whatever wood pieces and pallets lying around the buildings

Weekdays only. Morning shift 6:00-2:30. Benefits after a two-month probation includes six paid holidays and one-week paid vacation after one-year employment. $15 an hour. Montecito Market will be closed for a few days so we can visit with Scott's family for the holidays. We will be closing tonight at 7:00pm and will re-open on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 7:00 am

Our apologies to the folks in Bangor who have missed our chips. We fired the last independent distributor as he didn't do a good job in stocking our accounts in the Hannaford stores. He told us he had covered the northern area and stocked Bangor but we spent the day Monday up north talking to store managers and getting our shelf space reinstated. We got bumped off the shelves due to it being empty for so long! We are now back in all three Bangor stores and also in Brewer, Waterville, and Old Town. Please let us know if you see it needing to be stocked again!
