Not all water is treated the same. I purchased your machine may be approx. 4 months ago, could be more.

It consistently produces great clean distilled water, the double UV light for disinfection is something no one does, definitely not attached to the distiller itself.

I drink the EL5 water regularly daily, and in addition carry two large glass jugs full in my car, both me and my wife and our fur baby.

it isn't a pitcher — it's a piece of equipment, built to run for years,
