Two of my favorite calves from this years calf crop! Charolais/Angus cross are always flashy and the Angus/Hereford cross has such unique face markings! Both are heifers so they will stay with us and join our cow herd.

Hello everyone, another busy week is upon us after a productive weekend! We took the opportunity to clean the feeder barn, which is an essential part of keeping our animals happy and healthy! This week, we will be taking another load of steers for processing for our loyal customers. As a reminder, we offer retail packages of pork and beef, with ample stock of hamburger, steaks and roast, while our pork supply is limited at the moment (No chops, bacon or side pork). Planning ahead, we are accepting pre-orders for half and whole hogs to be processed in late summer. For reservations, kindly send us a message! This heifer was born on Friday afternoon before the cold weekend. Mama cow did a superb job of drying her off and taking care of her. We kept them in the barn out of the wind and she is doing great! Todd thinks we should fire the farm manager though for having a calf in December....oops!!
