We care about our chickens and treat them well. All our chickens are traditional farmstead breeds that were bred to be active foragers. They spend nine months of the year on pasture and they give us delicious eggs with bright yellow yolks during this time. In the winter we supplement their feed with grains that we sprout to keep the egg quality up. They also get fed any greens (wild or cultivated)

we can get our hands on during winter. While their yolks do not have that same vibrant appearance during the winter, they are still superior to grocery store organic eggs. As always, our chickens are fed 100% organically. Our eggs are $5 a dozen delivered to your home in Westby or Viroqua.
