Sandy’s is here to stay! ❤️
As the current owners say goodbye, we’re grateful for the care they’ve given Sandy’s and our community. On October 1, a new chapter begins.
You’ll still find the Sandy’s you’ve always loved: familiar faces, good food, and a warm welcome. We’re also looking forward to bringing fresh ideas to this neighborhood tradition.
Stay tuned. We can’t wait to share what’s ahead!

A message from Jim & Emmalee
Today is a bittersweet day as we say goodbye to Sandy's.
20 years ago, we were entrusted to be the third stewards of Sandy's Fine Food Emporium, an institution in the Westerly Community. It has been early mornings, long days, laughter, challenges and countless memories that we will carry with us long after we walk away.
To our customers- we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You supported us throughout this journey. So many of you became familiar faces, then friends. We have been through recessions and pandemics and celebrated milestones together. Your support has meant more than you will ever know.
And to our staff - there are not enough words to express our gratitude. To those of you who are with us now and those who have stopped here along your own journey, your dedication, loyalty and commitment has truly made Sandy's what it is today. We could never have done it without you, and we are incredibly proud and fortunate to have worked beside you.
A business is never just a business. It is the people who walk through the door, the people who work beside you and the relationships that grow along the way. This is what we will remember the most.
We will be forever grateful for the privilege of being part of this community. While today marks the end of this chapter for us, it is the beginning of a new chapter for William and Danielle Turrell. We know you will welcome them as you have done us.
With unwavering gratitude,
Jim and Emmalee
