Let me tell you about . When Chilli Pepper was first diagnosed with Cancer, me made sure she got approval for Medicaid to take care of her treatment. Because of him, we got another 3 years with her. Chilli's chosen family will forever be grateful for this man. ❤️🙏🏽

My resolution for 2025 is to work on my stress levels. As a restaurant owner, the stress is never going away but I can build better self care habits and systems to deal with it. And, according to .sapolsky and his book, the effects of stress are significant. Everything from our mood, brain health, cardiovascular systems, metabolic function, digestion and even our cancer risk can be impacted by unmanaged stress. So my mantra for 2025: Not today Satan! 🚫👿

I wouldn't be where I am today without . He took a chance on a 23 year-old newbie from California and gave me my first big break as the Sommelier of Everest. Nearly 25 years later, not a day has gone by where I don't implement some lesson he taught me. We had a tribute dinner for him last night and I am so grateful that I had a chance to let him know what his mentorship has meant to me (and others).
