So-Fine Bovines, LLC In 1995 the 60-cow herd of the Jeff Buchholz family and the 100-cow herd of the Jim Kruger family came together.

The merger allowed each producer to focus on what they do best. Jeff is the dairy manager, and is responsible for daily operations including milk production, herd health, genetics and employee management. Jim is general manager, and is responsible for forages, feedstuff and nutrient management. Currently So-Fine is milking 670 cows, and running 2,000 acres.
