Happy Labor Day weekend everyone! We have beautiful freshly picked vegetables for sale at our farmstand this weekend. There is Silver Queen Corn & carrots, plus organic heirloom, slicing and cherry tomatoes, shishido peppers, banana peppers, peaches, kale, eggplant and several varieites of squash. All reasonaby priced. We're open today until 6:00 pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm. We're at 354 Root Rd in Westfield - just look for yellow stone house! Hope to see you!

We have a special on Certified Organic Squash - all kinds of organic squash: yellow, green, green grilling, Mediterranean and you can get any 4 squash for a mere $5.00. We also have organic green and silver slicing cucumbers - also 4/$5.00 and organic blackberries - $5.00 per container. Open Saturday untill 4pm. Don't forget, we also accept SNAP/HIP!

We're excited to announce that the blackberries are finally ready to pick! Our PYO crops are only available to CSA members, but we will be selling 1/2 pints of blackberries to the public, starting Wednesday July 22nd. The farm store is open 10am - 6pm. We also have (all organic) green & silver cucumbers, yellow & green squash, curly kale, kohlrabi and more. Hope to see you!

Happy 4th of July everyone. We'll be open for CSA member pickups on Saturday as usual. We're happy to announce that the cucmbers are in and delicious. A true Summer treat.

Hello CSA members - not that we think most folks even want to go out into the fields in this heat, but to make it official - while the temps are so high, there will be no PYO. Sorry to disappoint but we want to keep our members and friends safe. Hopefully this heat wave will be ovver soon.

Getting as many farm chores done as we can before the temperatures soar - 100+ temps are really hard for farms and especially our farm workers and some vegetables suffer. So - we'll do what needs to be done in the sun today and tomorrow and save the cooler chores for later in the week. This week's vegetables include red & green lettuce, garlic scapes, turnips, herbs winter savory & mint, peas, stufgart onions, green & yellow squash, and one or 2 more items tbd.

Yellow Stonehouse Farm's first CSA pick-ups start Wed June 10th & Thu June 11th 3-6pm, Fri June 12th 10am - 1pm & 3-6pm, & Sat 9am - 1pm. Our crew is working diligently caring for the produce and completing the new High Tunnel/Greenhouse for additional specialty vegetables. The building process was slowed by the constant cold wet weather, but with the help of Michel at the Lumber Center of Westfield, who promty supplied the farm with top quality, straight 2X4, 2X6 and 2X10 clean, straight lumber (not pressure treated as we are organic) the crew could build the suport wall & gable ends rather easily. Imagine - straight cut lumber still available from a local lumber yard!

FYI - YSF currently still has shares available for pickup as follows: Wednesday 3 shares, Thursday 4 shares, Friday 7 shares and Saturday 5 shares. We limit our pickups to 50 per day for the comfort of our members.

We are harvesting lots of asparagus - and have red and green bunches for sale at $5.00 per bunch. Come and get it - we'll be open Saturday from 10 am until 3 pm for you holiday enjoyment. Hope to you!
