Westfield’s first Community Supported Agriculture program Yellow Stonehouse Farm is a 55 acre property located near the Westfield/Southampton town line in a Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Landscape. CISA Local Hero Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture.

Yellow Stonehouse Farm's first CSA pick-ups start Wed June 10th & Thu June 11th 3-6pm, Fri June 12th 10am - 1pm & 3-6pm, & Sat 9am - 1pm. Our crew is working diligently caring for the produce and completing the new High Tunnel/Greenhouse for additional specialty vegetables. The building process was slowed by the constant cold wet weather, but with the help of Michel at the Lumber Center of Westfield, who promty supplied the farm with top quality, straight 2X4, 2X6 and 2X10 clean, straight lumber (not pressure treated as we are organic) the crew could build the suport wall & gable ends rather easily. Imagine - straight cut lumber still available from a local lumber yard!

FYI - YSF currently still has shares available for pickup as follows: Wednesday 3 shares, Thursday 4 shares, Friday 7 shares and Saturday 5 shares. We limit our pickups to 50 per day for the comfort of our members.

We are harvesting lots of asparagus - and have red and green bunches for sale at $5.00 per bunch. Come and get it - we'll be open Saturday from 10 am until 3 pm for you holiday enjoyment. Hope to you!

It was so great to have so many members and friends come to the farm on Saturday - everyone enjoyed the sunshine and recieving a WILD Spring share. We are still signing folks up for the CSA - and we hope you will be one of them.

We will be selling our own organic asparagus for $5/bunch right into June. We have set up a self serve table at the entrance to our distribution area - see the picture I've included. We also have beautiful hanging baskets, perrenials and shrubs for sale - including affordable varieties grown and potted by Connie.

We're hosting an Open Farm Day this Saturday May 16th 10am - 3pm. We'll have a special farmshare for all Summer 2026 CSA members including anyone who signs up on the 16th! We'll also be selling hanging flower pots, perennials and shrubs along with organic vegetable transplants. The special farmshare will wild fiddleheads and ramps,n along with our own organic asparagus, one of Connie's teas and other local and organic produce. We hope to see you!

Shares for our Summer CSA are selling briskly but we still have all but Wednesday pickup days available. Did you know that we have multiple ways to pay available? We have a payment plan, SNAP-HIP, accept credit cards and of course checks. We want to make it easy for you to join - so call us to discuss what works best for you.

Don't forget YSF's May Open Farm Day on May 16th - the special Spring share will be available for members but we'll also be selling asparagus, fiddleheads, ramps and other farm produce along with perennials, shrubs, organic transplants and flowering baskets. Hope to see you!

So great to get some rain when the snap peas, onions and shallots are in the ground. Just a reminder that on May 16th the farm will be offering our "wild" vegetable share for all members. We're also selling hanging baskets for Mother's day. Hope to see upi!

We planted another 2 rows of PYO Sugar Snap Peas today for all our members to enjoy picking later this Spring. If you would like to enjoy the delicious benefits or belonging to Westfield's certified organic CSA, we still have openings for all pickup days - though Wednesday is filling up fast. And don't forget that we have a SNAP-HIP CSA membership avaialable for those who get DTA benefits - which also include weekly PYO privleges. We also welcome phone calls, emails and visits for those wanting more information.

We had lots of fun picking daffodils and talking with farm friends this past weekend! We're planning on another daffodilly day next Saturday, April 25th between 10am and 3pm if you weren't able to make it. Here are a few pictures of folks enjoying the day and taking trips on the daffodil express!

Calling all Summer 2026 CSA members - come pick a bunch of daffodils this Saturday April 18th, 2026. With the very warm weather, the daffies are roaring and will be gone soon. We'll be open from 10am until 3 pm. This is also a great opportunity for new and potential members to come check us out meet the farmers and Muffin the barn cat! Hope to see you!
