Due to the recent snow and the drop temps. We do not have any sap to boil tomorrow for the open house. We are going to postpone it until next Saturday. March 28th 12 -2pm.

Biggest boiling day ever!
219 gallons with amazing flavor. Hosted new friends from Missouri who have never been to Vermont or had real maple syrup. We collected 10,950 gallons of sap.
We will sleep good tonight 😴

It's been a busy few days here with the sap flowing. We boiled yesterday and had some wonderful guests from India try maple syrup for the first time. Also, many friends stopped in to help out. Today was a different story. Things were going great with boiling, sap continues to flow in. But, at 2:06 pm our power went out. It's not supposed to be back on until tomorrow night at 11:30. I am here sitting in the dark with candles burning being thankful that things could be worse. Praying for all those people down South affected by the devastating tornadoes.
