I've started putting in my seasonal gardens. Let's talk about companion planting. What do you plant together? Pictured is one of my raised beds that has dragon tongue beans, purple basil, cinnamon basil, and Chinese red noodle beans. I've found growing my beans in raised plants helps reduce pests.

I've had a few people mention having difficulty growing peppers in our northern VT climate. The secret is to start them by the first week of March so they're mature by the time they go outside. Let me help set you up for success! I have peppers on my starter plants for sale currently. Pluck the flowers off when you plant them next week and you'll be harvesting peppers the first week of July right through our first frost.

Open this weekend Saturday and Sunday 10-4 all pepper plants are $4 each or 3 for $10.

Had a successful weekend selling veggie starts thanks to everyone that stopped in to see what I've got going on. I also got the tiller hooked up and started prepping my beds for plants. Yes I'm a firm believer in tilling although I do also grow a few in no till raised beds. I don't buy into the first few warm days our soil isn't warm enough for planting yet. I still typically refrain from putting plants in the ground until the first week of June although it'll be time to start sowing seeds later this week before the next rain. So it's not too late if you're just thinking about having your first garden. I have field space for rent and starter plants ready to go. Reach out and let's get you started producing your own food with no pesticides or GMOs!

The latest batch of TC tropical plants came out of acclimation and into soil this morning. I've been so busy with veggie and annual starts I haven't posted much about the houseplants.

If you're following my page what are you more interested in? Tropical plants? Or annual starts?
