Enter Justin and Mike, cofounders, who as teenagers, aspired to be professional athletes. Upon entering High School, Justin narrowed his focus on tennis while Mike concentrated on baseball. In college, Justin was

all league first team and then competed professionally around the world after college, while Mike played on several major league fields in America as a member of the Atlanta Braves scout ball team. Things were great, until their adolescent diets consisting of processed, sugary foods caught up to them. Justin began suffering from severe arthritis in his back, which eventually forced him to quit professional Tennis for good. Mike felt a sharp pain in his arm while pitching and was diagnosed with a torn labrum. He tried to return to the field after surgeries and rehab but was unable to fully recuperate. As Justin's arthritis worsened and the pain in Mike’s arm kept him up at night, they both knew something needed to change. They began to study the impact that nutrition has on the body and drastically changed their diets. After several months of making this lifestyle alteration, Justin was able to rid himself of his arthritis and the pain in Mike’s arm has never returned. With this knowledge and newfound passion, Justin began cooking nutrition bars in his kitchen for himself and friends. After receiving a lot of great feedback, he contemplated selling his food bars. He was introduced to Mike shortly after and they quickly became good friends. Their love for nutrition inspired them to start a company aimed at changing the world. Working diligently together, they used a combination of knowledge and trial-by-error to produce something they knew was truly unique.
