The course is looking fabulous for tomorrow’s Hunter Pace. If you were undecided about pre entering, no worries, we are accepting entries tomorrow between 9:30 and 1:00. If you did pre enter, thank you and you should have received your ride time by email.
We had some early birds try out the course this evening. Thumbs up from the pony and the mule!

It's time for our 5th annual Hunter Pace here at Ship’s Quarters Farm!

🗓️Saturday, August 29, 2026

We have a gorgeous 4-mile course that takes you through lovely Carroll County farmland, with approximately 22 optional jumps. Easy to go around and stay on the flat if you prefer. Several small creek crossings, beautifully maintained trails, and the most stunning views!

This is a fun, laid-back, slower paced event that is perfect for riders and mounts of all experience levels. Bring a friend - we welcome teams of up to 4 riders!

We had such a good time at last Friday’s schooling show. Beautiful weather and a great turnout made for a fun evening.
Next up is our Hunter Pace on Saturday 8/29. A lovely approximately 4 mile course, rolling hills, woods and open fields with optional inviting fences. Save the date!

Some notes about our shows:
-Show attire is NOT required, however you MUST wear an approved helmet at all times when mounted.
-A current Coggins is required to participate, sent by email or presented in person at check-in.
-We accept pre-entries and day-of entries. $20 office fee applies to day-of entries.
-We foster a friendly, encouraging atmosphere - coaching is allowed and welcomed! This is a perfect opportunity to get your green horses and/or beginner riders out and about.

ISO part-time barn chores help- Wednesday and Sunday evenings (time is flexible)

*Cleaning 24 stalls (most are very tidy- I can do them all in 45 mins to an hour)
*Filling hay bags
*Cleaning automatic stall waterers/buckets

Takes about 2 hours total each day. Paid hourly. Experience doing barn chores not necessary but a plus. Potential for more farm maintenance work in addition to stall cleaning, if desired.

This is a good gig for someone looking to earn some extra cash on the side. PM for more info!
