Life on the crush pad returns with the start of the 2026 vintage 🍇

Our winemaker Lisa Hinton and team look forward to this season all year long…the moment months and months of hard work, patience, and challenges are finally realized in the beautiful grapes arriving at the winery.

We’re kicking off harvest with missing boots, extra boots, and a few poorly timed broken toes. 😅

Vintage 2026, here we go. Wish us luck!

wine crafted for oysters! 🦪🥂

Meet Brine — a crisp, Vinho Verde–style blend that pays tribute to the Chesapeake Bay and its oysters, nature’s most delicious tool for restoring the Bay.

Like all Old Westminster wines, Brine is cause-driven: for every bottle sold, $1 will be donated to the Oyster Recovery Partnership, a Chesapeake Bay restoration organization.

Tart, bright, and briny — this wine was made for Chesapeake oysters.

Maryland Sauvignon Blanc, getting some love. 🌿

Our 2025 Sauvignon Blanc was named one of VinePair’s 30 Best Sauvignon Blancs of 2026, earning 95 points.

Made by Lisa Hinton with fruit grown on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay, VinePair calls it “a gorgeous example of how the East Coast, and Maryland in particular, is realizing its terroir,” with notes of lemon verbena, guava, lime oil and sea salt.

Proud to see Maryland Wineries Association represented alongside so many producers we’ve long admired.
