Join us at Schola in Baltimore for a special evening celebrating Maryland w**e, thoughtful food, and the joy of gathering around a table.

We’re bringing a selection of Old Westminster w**es to the city for an intimate w**e tasting dinner, sharing the stories behind the bottles and celebrating the connection between what grows in our vineyards and what makes its way to your glass.

Whether you’re a longtime friend of the w**ery or discovering our w**es for the first time, we’d love to share a glass with you.

Old Westminster Winery and Burnt Hill Farm were featured in Southern Living’s “12 Maryland Wineries That Are Perfect For Fall.”

From wood-fired pizzas and afternoons in the kitchen garden at Old Westminster to estate w**es, farm-grown ingredients, and Chef Tae Strain’s celebrated culinary program at Burnt Hill, our sister farms share one vision: to cultivate joy through food, w**e and hospitality.

Our 2025 Sauvignon Blanc comes from Chesapeake Manor Farms on Kent Island, a site shaped by the cooling influence of the Chesapeake Bay between Annapolis and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This is our first year working with fruit from the vineyard, and the w**e shows a compelling coastal expression of Sauvignon Blanc: bright natural acidity, herbal lift, tropical aromatics, and a subtle saline edge.

The w**e was fermented with native yeast entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness and varietal clarity, then stirred on the lees for added texture and length. Aromatically, it opens with lemon custard, guava, eucalyptus, lemon verbena, and fresh-cut grass. The palate brings green apple, white peach, citrus oil, and salt-tinged minerality, with a crisp core of acidity balanced by gentle lees-derived creaminess.

It’s a vivid, site-driven Sauvignon Blanc that speaks clearly to Maryland’s Chesapeake influence: coastal, bright, herbal, and mineral, with enough texture to feel serious without losing its freshness. ✨
