Order a box filled with goodies from some of our farms that you can turn into breakfast or lunch the very next day!! Order ahead to make sure you get all the goodies! Pick up will be at the crawl and these are only available through pre-order! Meats from Hazy River Homestead and Moonflower Farm, LLC, muscadine jelly featuring Lughnasa Farm, LLC muscadines and bread and goodies from Happy Camp Farms!! And if you are feeling mysterious, get a mystery box! We promise no unknown items lol

🌿 Let’s talk Sansevierias—better known as Snake Plants! 🐍 🪴

These tough little beauties are native to tropical Africa and store water in their thick leaves, making them wonderfully drought-tolerant. In other words, they're very hard to kill, which makes them great for people who suck at keeping plants alive. 😜 They don't take up very much space too as they grown vertically.

Fun fact: They also release oxygen at night helping to purify the air in your home, grow from underground stems called rhizomes, and come in far more varieties than the classic tall, green-and-yellow plant most people recognize. In fact - have several different varieties in the store that you can take home! We have Zeylanica, Bantel's Sensation, and my favorite, Moonshine Sansevierias!

We restocked several different varieties for the store yesterday before Plingo, and they’re looking mighty fine! They’re stylish, easygoing, and perfect for anyone who occasionally forgets their plants exist. Just remember: Snake Plants would much rather be ignored than loved to death with too much water! They thrive on neglect making them perfect if plants aren't your thing but you want to pretend that they are!

🌿 Calling All Plant Nerds 🌿

Let's play a game. The store is open 12-6 today but we will check throughout the day. The FIRST person to correctly name all 10 plants wins a special gift from Flip Flop Farm! 🎁

But there are rules:

🚫 Please, No Google Lens, no plant-identifying apps, and no cheating—we’ll know! 👀 Calling in a lifeline is completely ok though 😂

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE FARM CRAWL! 🚨

Want to experience the Farm Crawl for FREE? Come volunteer with us (or another farm if your choosing) for a two-hour time slot, and you’ll score a 🌟FREE🌟 Farm Crawl ticket so you can enjoy the rest of the crawl!

Volunteer time slots:

🐝 9:00–11:00
🐐 11:00–1:00
🌵 1:00–3:00

We need help with some easy things like directing traffic in the driveway, assisting with parking, helping visitors get in and out of bee suits (from a distance), and generally keeping the chaos moving in the right direction!

Help us for a couple of hours (or more if you want - overachievers...we don’t judge), hang out with the crazy crew at Flip Flop Farm, and then head out to experience the rest of the Farm Crawl for free!

What an AMAZING night!! 🪴❤️

Our very first PLINGO on the Farm is officially in the books, and we seriously couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to spend the evening with! There were lots of laughs, a little friendly competition, plenty of plant talk, and most importantly… EVERYONE went home with some goodies! 🌿🌵🎉

When we started adding houseplants, cacti, and succulents to the farm, we hoped it would give us another way to bring people together—and tonight was exactly what we had in mind. Seeing everyone laughing, having fun, winning plants, and just enjoying a night out at the farm made all the planning and craziness completely worth it.

To everyone who came out, played along, laughed with us, and supported our little farm—THANK YOU! ❤️ Your support means more to us than you probably realize. Everyone that supports us helps us continue growing this crazy little thing we call Flip Flop Farm.

And judging by tonight… we definitely can’t let this be a one-time thing. 😂

We’re already looking at dates for our NEXT PLINGO NIGHT, so keep an eye on the page! 👀🪴 Tickets went fast last time!

🍂 VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS ARE OPEN! 🍂

The Fall Farm Crawl is just a few weeks away, and we need some wonderful volunteers to help us make September 19th a great day! ❤️

Our volunteers are such an important part of the Farm Crawl. Most shifts involve helping our farms welcome guests, direct parking, and keep things running smoothly throughout the day.

Shifts are only 2 hours long, and every volunteer receives a FREE ticket to the Farm Crawl! 🎟️

It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours serving our community, connecting with our farmers, and being part of something that brings so many people together in support of local agriculture.

A few quick reminders:
🍁 Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift
🍁 Wear closed-toed shoes
🍁 Bring water and snacks
🍁 Come ready to lend a hand and have some fun!

We truly could not put on an event like this without people willing to step up and help. We are SO grateful for every single person who gives their time to support our farmers and our community. ❤️
