Scallywag Brewing A local craft brewery and taproom in Westmont, IL. Featuring craft beer, craft sodas, and hard seltzer brewed in house! Who brews beer? I brew beer.

We are family friendly, including the furry members as long as they are kept on a leash and well behaved. And it's glorious. Pale, lager, cream, brewed to standard or experimental: you name it, I'll try it. Except sours, at least not on purpose. I really enjoy exploring different brewing styles and sharing with the people around me. Stay tuned for future developments, big and small. There are no small dreams, only small beers (taster flights).

​Scallywag Brewing started with a simple curiosity about beer (why does it do that thing it does?? hint: it's actual magic). That curiosity grew into a passion for beer. Passion for everything from styles to techniques to science (seriously, don't start a conversation about it, we'll go on for hours). Combine that with our natural obsessive quest for knowledge and toss in a punk rock, DIY, meet life at 60 mph attitude. Looks, tastes, and smells like a recipe for success! We start our day with coffee, and end it with amazing brews. We shape the world around us to our tastes and always see the beauty in the aesthetic.

Right now, we’re busy kicking around some ideas to bring our vision to life. You’ll definitely want to keep an eye on us. We’re driven to create an experience that is comfortable but unique. We’re more than a little bit nerdy, somewhat artsy, and definitely cool.
