I’ve been asked before if I use Decon for mice and my answer is always “no” and this is why. I feed the guardians meat and dry dog food, but they catch small rodents that hang around in the goat houses and don’t let them go to waste either. Liam caught this big rodent (either field mouse or shrew) sometime before feeding and waited for praise for dispatching a “threat” to Moses and the does before settling down to do whatever he wishes to it.

The wind started to pick up this afternoon as I was getting ready to leave for work so I went to quickly check on the goats and dogs. Lena and Lily were hunkered down in the goat house with Belle and Heidi while Liam and Moses were outside of the buck house roughing it in the wind.

Wild turkeys up close this morning while I was out feeding animals. A couple were brave enough to come close to the fence while the dogs were distracted with their breakfast.
