I haven't posted any birds for awhile, but we had a nice day yesterday, and this guy is pretty. He's a blue Naked Neck and blue Serama. He's almost a year.

Hatch day! Large fowl Blue Australorp x Splash Naked Neck. Some have feathered necks and some do not. There is also a bantam Naked Neck in there too. The other bantam Naked Neck just hatched - the last one of the clutch. 21/22 eggs is a pretty successful incubation.

Exciting news at The Blue Feather Farm! The second project chickens I've ever tried to do started hatching last night. These are from a frizzle Splash Serama cockerel and a Blue Naked Neck pullet. I'm waiting on one more to hatch. It's pipped, but hasn't made it out of it's shell. It will be a 100% hatch rate. All 9 chicks have naked necks and are blue or splash.
