Falling 4 Ewe Farm

It all started with four acres and a dream of owning a few meat goats. Since fall of 2013 we have continued to expand our livestock and our goal of self-sufficiency where practical and to buy local when possible. We raise goats, sheep, ducks, geese, rabbits, and pigs for meat, milk, eggs, and fiber. We also grow a decent size garden that we preserve in a variety of ways. Since we raise and process

our livestock onsite we truly value their lives and believe in providing a purpose for as much of the animal as possible from the bones for stock to the organ meats for dog food and the hides for leather. Our animals are raised primitively (grass-based genetics) and share the pasture with other species in order to mimic nature. We dehydrate, can, freeze, and ferment our meat, fruits and veggies so that we can maximize our harvest. A few things we have learned along the way 1) there are not enough hours in the day 2) never take anything for granted 3) it is always worth it 4) you get what you pay for 5) this is what we were put on this earth to do.
