It’s been exactly three weeks since QWS offices were destroyed by flooding. As of close of business today, we are officially back into one of the two buildings! Having this one clean, secure space will help our team normalize operations in the mid term while the other office is still being redone.

Speaking of our team, without their dedication, hard work, and long hours, QWS would not have been able to simultaneously serve our clients and recover. We are so much more than co-workers working through this together!

Our sincere gratitude to Sam England, Kings Electric Inc, Quality Carpet & Flooring, and Hope's Point Baptist Church for all you’ve done at a time when so many are in need. From the initial mud mucking, to roughing out, QWS friends, neighbors, fellow business owners, and members from our community pulled together in short order to get us working out of our own space again.

We still have a long way to get back to normal, but for this moment, we pause and reflect. All of the selfless support to get QWS up and running again means everything - not just to us, but to our clients across WV who count on our services for clean drinking water every day!

If your home or land was impacted by flood water, PLEASE reach out to our local health department and have the water quality of your well tested. This is a free service and can make sure your family’s drinking water is safe!

May seem like odd timing given the current state of natural disaster recovery, but QWS has plenty of operations work still going on every day. 💪

Water/wastewater operations and maintenance is one job our communities will always need. At QWS, our Operators in Training start at pay $15-17/hr based on experience. Guaranteed 40+ hours per week. Full healthcare benefits package offered with 401(k) match.

QWS remains FULLY OPERATIONAL to serve WV’s water and wastewater utility systems.

The QWS office location on John Street in Weston will be closed until further notice as the flood cleanup continues. Our temporary office will be up and running soon.

The loss and damages are significant, not just for QWS, but for our employees and the entire community. Your continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated!
