My name is María Josefina, or MariJo, which was also the name of my amazing mother, not only that but mjoy sounds like enjoy! That is what each bite of my mother's recipe for home-made cakes achieves. This is how she prepared them, with love, trying always to enjoy the taste and the moment. In each and everyone of these cakes and pies there is much nostalgia, but there is also much gratitude and pride. mjoy!


¿De dónde sale el nombre mjoy? Mi nombre es María Josefina- MariJo- y también era el nombre de mi adorada y recordada mamá, pero además de eso, mjoy, suena a enjoy! Eso es lo que se logra en cada mordisco de estos pasteles que son preparados con la receta de mi mamá. Tal cual ella los preparaba, con muchísimo amor, tratando siempre de que disfrutáramos el sabor y el momento. En cada uno de estas tortas, pasteles y pies, va mucha de esa nostalgia. Pero también, mucho de agradecimiento y orgullo.
