If anyone in the alpaca world is looking for a grey stud I am thinking about selling Sir Lancelot. AOA #35270010 9 year old huacaya. He only has one cria and he has outstanding fleece. I was going to breed him to my fawn females but have decided not to do any more breedings. I don't have a current histogram but can supply fiber samples to anyone interested. Needs an experienced handler because he can be a handful but not in a mean way he's just large and rambunctious. I never had the opportunity to show him but I feel that he would have done well. I am seriously entertaining the idea of downsizing my herd. I'm at an age where I need to make some changes in my life. This is not a fire sale. Serious inquiries only!!! Lady Guinevere s 2023 fleece. This one of my favorites. I love fawn. Her fleece is a light to medium fawn as shown in the pic with the white background. It is very soft and spins beautifully. 2 3/4 - 3 inch staple length, 4lbs. Has been lightly skirted and is very clean except for some mud on the tips. Sir Lancelot did not disappoint ❤ medium silver grey. 4lbs 12oz, 4 inch staple length, approx 22-23 micron, nice crimp. Very clean, may have mud on the tips but very minimal vm if any. Has been lightly skirted.
This fleece spins beautifully and makes very soft yarn.

It has been decided that Rune is going to be a light grey now that all this fleece is gone. Still have to figure out if he's silver or rose. Hoping for rose grey but I'm thinking silver.

Shearing day, 5/10, was a success!!! Finally had a sunny, dry day after about 6 or 7 years of rainy shearing days. Had a great harvest!! Two fleeces have already gone to new homes and I will be cleaning and posting more for sale. So stay tuned!!

Shearing is May 10th. I will have a new fiber harvest to offer for sale. Colors available will be one med silver grey, lots of white, one white cria fleece, one dark brown, one med fawn, one dark chocolate brown. The dark chocolate has guard hair. These are all prime spinning quality fleeces. I will also have rug quality fleece available if anyone is interested. Rug fleece will be $30 per fleece and the spinning quality will be priced from $50 to $150 depending on quality, length and amount of veggie matter. PM if interested. Paypal accepted.
