Is Bill Gates mentally ill? These are the facts…
1. Crops in the West are not all GMO.
2. GMO crops are not the most productive. Even the USDA has officially stated this.
3. GMO commodities are unwillingly subsidized by taxpayers and have an unfair cost advantage. Nobody wants GMOs, but the organic market is growing despite being generally more expensive.
4. Bill has not eaten any genetically engineered wheat. The first GMO wheat has only come to market in Argentina last year.
5. Bill has not eaten GMO corn his whole life. GMO corn only began to be grown and commercialized in the late 1990s.
6. A safety record would indicate that someone is officially keeping track. There is absolutely no safety record.

So is Bill lying or is he delusional? Either way, Bill should not be allowed to have any influence over the world’s agriculture and food systems.

C&K Community Kitchen is home to several local businesses that range from brand-new companies, just beginning to develop prototypes, to those more established that use the facility to prepare products for local farmers markets and retail distribution.

Beware the new GMO purple tomato, now being pushed out to community gardens and soon to show up on grocery store shelves. There is no requirement to put a GMO label on them because our government has declined to regulate GMOs created with newer, but equally risky, methods of genetic engineering. The GMO tomato was engineered to be higher in anthocyanin, an antioxidant, using genes from snapdragons. No safety testing was required. You and your kids will be the lab rats for a product that's not needed, not wanted, and not proven safe.

The truth is, we already have many varieties of natural, non-GMO purple tomatoes that are high in anthocyanin. So why are they creating unnecessary and unwanted GMO purple tomatoes? Patents and control. These patented tomatoes benefit no one but the developers. BOYCOTT GMO tomatoes and GMO tomato seeds.

If you're looking for tomatoes that are high in anthocyanin, be sure to buy Certified Organic or Biodynamic, Non-GMO Project Verified or heirloom varieties to avoid these unnecessary GMOs.
