When newlyweds Bud and Adrienne Dow moved into their new home, they weren’t quite sure what they were going to do with the empty lot that came with it. After some brainstorming during the difficult pandemic that gripped the world, they couldn’t think of a better utilization than to grow and provide the one thing that always brings a smile to everyone’s face- beautiful flowers. As they grow, they p

lan to create an oasis concentrated on inspiring creativity and community. The 2021 season will be their first and they cannot wait to see all your smiling faces among the petals! We love history and believe that it plays a role in our everyday lives. As a way of paying respect to the history of the land, we chose to use the name of the old town where the farm now sits. The neighboring railroad allowed the little town of Coburg to be established in the 1870’s by Jacob T. Forbes. The name was derived from his hometown of Cobourg, Canada. The Flower Depot part of our name plays into the railroad next to us and the importance it played in settling the land we are on today.
