She had been such a good dog, that we had to have another Mastiff. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and my doctor told me to find and activity that would require me to get up and do something, but not for very long. I have found that working with my Mastiffs is just that something that requires exercise as well as sharing love with my dogs! I have just started into the show ring! I have found that it is
fun and you meet good people! But I can also sit on the side lines and just watch the fun! I have found good quality adult ok dogs to start my foundation of a line of Mastiff that will compliment the breed and produce winners in the show ring! I took Onyx to the ring for the first time in Louisville, KY in Mar of 15. I found that an adult dog that had not been exposed to this life was really skittish! So I got a puppy to take to the ring. Sampson has been a lot of fun! I am borrowing from the good names and established lines of Mastiff such as Nancy Walker with Lazy D Mastiffs. She is a wonderful friend and an absolute kind hearted woman. My foundation of dogs are from her lines with Onyx and Sam. But Gary Schneider has lent his name to the sire of Sam's stud, so we carry his line with us in all Sampson produces. We also have some Gropetti, Audley Farm and Marcy Mountain. The MTC line is from another good friend, Tracy Clark. She worked with her Mastiffs for years and has achieved a high quality line. I want to thank all these breeders for their hard work and dedication to the breed and I hope that I am able to establish a line that they will appreciate as well! I added to my lines with Hess Country and my good friend and handler, Matt Hess. A beautiful girl, Macy was from Matt’s Sandy and Mitzi Walter’s boy, Doc. And of course, Bo! Out of Matt’s boy Chamberlain. I added to my lines by bringing home Gemma from Hungary! Her sister, Maya, owned by a dear friend, Lisa Brewer, and Sampson had a gorgeous litter of which I own 3 of the girls! Ruby and Fancy came to live with us at 8 weeks and Oakley joined us when her owner surrendered her due to a change in circumstances. Fancy is doing well in the ring! Ruby developed a limp that has become habit so won’t go into the ring. We’ll see with Oakley!
