So proud of our Grandson Bryce. The picture he holds in his hands is from the National Western on the hill in 2017 when Bryce was 10. They were hanging out on the golf cart waiting to go back in for division champion. We miss Don everyday and know he would be honored by Bryce’s words.

From an early age, I remember walking out the back door of my grandparents’ house with only one thing on my mind: Angus cattle. All thanks to my grandfather, Don Bloom. My grandfather was a wealth of knowledge, especially when it came to Angus cattle. If I had a question, it always seemed like he had the answer. He was someone I was truly proud to learn from—whether we were working cows, giving vaccines, or feeding a show heifer. Not only did he teach me how to farm, he taught me how to be a young man. I can wholeheartedly say that if it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be the man I am today.
