Just sending everyone a reminder about God Bless America Day being held at God's House today.
July 1st, 2023, 3 to 6 pm - 7301 Lapalco Blvd Marrero
* Let your friends and neighbors know to come join our celebration of the 4th and Hurricane Prep Event all in one.
* We have 700 lbs of boiled Crabs, BBQ, Snowballs, Hurricane Supplies and more.
* There will be demonstrations of crisis bags, live music and lots of community resource partners.
* If you or someone you know still needs help from Hurricane Ida, the deadline to apply for Restore La is fast approaching. They have changed some of the criteria to accept more applications so please stop by the tables for Endeavors or Catholic Charities to get more insight on possible grant funds. Catholic Charities can also help with an array of social service needs so please chat with them about mental health, physical health, grandparent issues, food insecurity, utility issues and more. Let them help you find resource to meet your current needs.

Apologizing in advance but I will be sharing this and lives through out the day as we prepare and proceed. We have such amazing partners, vocalist and community members that I can't help but encourage people to join us. This is a FREE event!! Maybe you could not afford the Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthday or Anniversary dinner and can come get some Crabs with your loved one. Maybe you don't have family to celebrate the 4th with but you do now... a big giant community of them. Maybe you don't have the funds for hurricane supplies and this is your chance to get those and educated on the Parish's plans for a storm. Just find a reason to come out and have a great time. We will have inside and outside booths setup and a cooling area. The United Cajun Navy will have a truck outside to collect any donated used or new clothing for other disaster sites they are working with if you have any to drop off.

Please share with on your social media and groups if possible. I’m allergic to Crabs so I do not want to take any home with me! We need hungry people. 😜❤️🙏🏼

Two upcoming benefits. Please share! We need people willing to help serve the plates, offer raffle prizes and make desserts. Proceeds will be given to crime stoppers to post a reward for information leading to the person who murdered Allen Dominick and to help his mother with funeral expenses. We will have lunch plates with a variety of options for $10 each and a 50/50 raffle.
