Nathan Gallo shoots exclusively on film. No staging, no clean edges, just natural lighting and the quiet spaces between things that most people walk right past. It's patient work, and it comes from the same stubborn view as the best winemakers we support: leave it alone, let the grain show, and don't try to polish away what makes it real.

Starting August 28, you can find "Volume Two" up on the walls of the shop.

Come by, taste a new wine, and spend a few minutes with his art. If you seek you that speaks to you, they're all for sale with 100% going back to the artist.

Join us on August 23 at 3PM at The Beamhouse (917 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT 06033) for this month's Wine Class. Join us for an afternoon exploring how volcanic geology dictates what ends up in your glass.

We’ll be pouring unmanipulated wines from unique grapes and century-old roots that have never seen a drop of synthetic spray. We hope you’ll leave understanding why these remote outposts are producing the most interesting wines in Europe today.

Space is limited — it will sell out.

As always, the class will feature 5 wines paired with a bit of education and a great food spread from our friends at Beamhouse. At the end of the class, you will have an opportunity to buy the wines at a discounted price.

Out on the Atlantic, fishing boats leave the Portuguese coast early while the fog still hangs low over the water. The catch is brought straight to the cannery, cleaned, and packed into tinplate by hand with good olive oil and salt. It is quiet, honest work that relies entirely on patience and natural ingredients.

We stock Miss Can because their ethos belongs alongside our bottles. There are no additives or modern tricks to mask the product. Their small squids are hand-stuffed with chopped tentacles and rice, swimming in a deep, spiced tomato broth. The scallops hold a gentle, warming pepper heat that accents their natural sweetness without overpowering it. The codfish breaks into soft, salt-cured flakes bathed in gold olive oil and crushed garlic.

Pairing them requires very little fuss. A glass of skin-contact white or a light, chilled red carries enough bright acidity to cut clean through the oil and salt.

Stop by the shop, grab a bottle and a few tins, and make a proper afternoon out of simple things.

We're stepping out of our comfort zone and taking a dip into the world of hops. Like good wine, good beer requires patience, honest ingredients, and respect for the process. Our neighbors down the road at New Park Brewing understand this deeply.

Starting this Friday, July 24, their beers and heirloom ciders have a permanent home on our shelves.

To mark the occasion, the New Park team is dropping over this Friday for a free pours. Stop in, grab a glass, and tell us what you think. If there’s a favorite you want us to keep stocked for you, just say the word.

When Filippo Rizzo bought a small, forgotten plot of land in San Michele di Ganzaria back, it came with rocks, dirt, and an old orchard of native olive trees. Over the last two decades, the Rizzo family has quietly built Lamoresca into a thriving, self-contained ecosystem of biodiversity in the central hills of Sicily.

What we love about this family is how clean, honest, and uncompromising their approach is. They farm completely isolated from industrial agriculture, surrounded by wild forests, native brush, and cacti. Every grape and olive is picked by hand, fermented spontaneously, and bottled without manipulation.

It’s rare to find a producer where every single release, from the wines to the olive oil, carries the exact same level of honesty and character. The flavors are their brand.

We’re really proud to have their (nearly) complete lineup on our shelves right now, including the ELSA exclusively at Vino Crudo.

– Nerocapitano (100% Frappato)
– Rosso (Nero d’Avola, Frappato)
– Elsa (Nerello Mascalese)
– Bianco (Vermentino)
– Rosato (Nero d’Avola, Frappato, Zibibbo)
– Extra Virgin Olive Oil

On the shelf and online now.

Join us on July 26 at 3PM at The Beamhouse (917 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT 06033) for this month's Wine Class! This month, we’re throwing out the traditional rulebook and turning the thermostat down. Join us for a survivalist's guide to summer drinking, where we explore the art and science of the deep chill.

We’ll taste through laser-sharp whites, structural skin-contact bottles, and light-bodied reds that completely transform after 30 minutes in the fridge. If you’ve ever wondered which reds actually thrive in the cold, or just want to sit in the AC and drink frosty wine for two hours, this is the class for you.

Space is limited — it will sell out.

As always, the class will feature 5 wines paired with a bit of education and a great food spread from our friends at Beamhouse. At the end of the class, you will have an opportunity to buy the wines at a discounted price.

WEEKDAY WINE CLASS ALERT

Join us on June 18 at 6PM at The Beamhouse (917 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT 06033) for this month's Wine Class. This class is a trip through countries bound by the same ancient ocean floor: the sharp, terraced hills of Austria, and the gravity-defying slopes of Slovenia.

We will taste how the ghost of an old sea still speaks through the wines of Bojan Kobal Kobal Wine Estate and a few Austrian selections. These are wines shaped by high altitude, cold mountain winds, and a stubborn refusal to alter what comes out of the dirt.
