🐑😔A sad day today we lost “Joy” one of our sheep. She died of old age. She was a part of our original flock. We still have two of her babies with us, “Kindness” and “Goodness” as well as one of her grandbabies who was born this year, “Abide”.
Though we are sad that “Joy” is gone we rejoice in the finished work of Jesus on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sin, and because of this we have the hope of eternity with our creator where there will be no more death, sorrow, or pain. We live in a fallen creation. Where all creation is groaning and subject to death and decay.
“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.”
Romans 5:12
“Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.”
