Did a test run on the spare harvester today. This unit hasn’t been used since 2019, while we crank it periodically and service it we weren’t certain it still built sufficient pressure to pump water. Well we are ecstatic because it pumps plenty of water and now we have two good working machines. Now we have a good spare incase we run into issues mid harvest and need to get back up and running quick.

We have been working on our spare harvester, so now we have two good working units. We welded in some new bracing for the floor and made new radiator mounts. We also took the time to wire wheel, rust treat, and paint the whole harvester. We cut and installed all new flooring, as well as installed a new radiator and fan.

Another project we just finished up. We painted the John Deere 6” water pump. We also fabricated a new fl**ge for the priming mechanism on it so now it should start pumping much easier. We also painted our shrimp pump. Not everything about farming is pretty but these pumps sure are. Happy with how they turned out!
