Whalan Depot The Whalan Depot was built in 1870 and used for passengers who rode the train. We sell handmade, one of kind unique items.

We opened in 2021 as a gift shop and a quick stop for cold sandwiches, ice cream novelties, fudge, snacks, cold drinks and more!

There’s still plenty of summer left in Lanesboro, and this weekend is packed with art, music, theater, outdoor fun and more! 🎨🎶☀️

The Lanesboro Area Art Trail returns Friday and Saturday from 10 AM–5 PM, inviting you to explore participating artist studios throughout the Lanesboro area. Pick up a map at the Lanesboro Visitor Center or Lanesboro Arts Gallery and make a day of it!

Then on Saturday, head just down the trail to Whalan's Music in the Bluffs, with live music from 4–8 PM. 🎵

And that’s just the start. Check out the full lineup of events happening Friday through Sunday and make the most of another late-summer weekend in Bluff Country!
