Come out this Wednesday for "The Afternoon Pour" co-hosted by Wharton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Uplift Hospice, and AccentCare. They will be offering information about healthcare services close to home. Each attendee is welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee or lemonade thanks to these great community hosts!

It's CHILI TIME!!! Starting Tuesday, October 20, we will be serving BRC Ranch Chili Bowls in the coffee shop for $5.50 each. These are 8 ounce bowls, so similar to a cup of soup size, and a great way for you to have a hearty, protein packed meal - made with our very own BRC Ranch Beef - and you can also get the Six Gun Chili Mixin's that we used in the recipe.

Chili Bowls: $5.50 each
Six Gun Chili Mixin: $6.99 in the meat market
BRC Ranch Ground Beef: $8/pound or $75 for a 10 pack bag

We will be serving starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday and the rest of the week or until sold out!

Opinion question: How would our customers feel if we moved 1 beef freezer into the coffee shop area? We get so much foot traffic in that area we are considering putting a freezer there just for more exposure for the beef. Plus, the coffee shop is open from 8 am to 10 when the meat market is closed at that time. The coffee shop also stays open til 5:30. So it would give 2.5 extra hours for customers to get beef.

But would our coffee shop patrons feel that is a turn off since it’s beef and not coffee? Opinions please.
