My grandson Trevor is becoming a masterful fence builder. Today he seeded some Sorgum Sudex grass mixed with spring oats for summer grazing He used a 90 year old John Deere grain drill that still works.

Today we were able to plant spring oats in the feed lot. This will allow us some early grazing for the cows while we let the pastors mature later this spring too we will be planting several acres of sorghum Sudex grass and we will rotate the cows in five 2 1/2 acre paddocks
