What a GREAT day at the Albany County Team Roping! 🤠🏆

Raegen DeLancey and Dave DeLancey had an awesome day, winning two holes together while riding DeLancey-made horses! Raegen’s college rodeo crew, “Andy” and “Wilma,” were sure working great today. 🐴 There were 114 teams!

It’s always fun to see Dave and Raegen rope together, but even more fun to watch them switch ends and still find themselves in the winner’s circle!

And what makes this day even more special? There’s three generations of history at the Albany County Team Roping. ❤️ Niki & Bernie DeLancey, Dave’s parents, competed there. Then came Dave and his brother Matt. And now, Dave and Raegen have won together there, too.

There’s nothing quite like continuing a family tradition—and doing it on horses trained right here in the DeLancey program. 🌟

Sired by the legendary PLAYGUN who earned over $183,0000 in the show pen and was named the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) high money earning 4 year old cutting horse in 1996. PLAYGUN has sired offspring with earnings exceeding $10.7 million.

Out of the iconic mare FIREWATER FIESTA Fire Water Flit x Mighty Mindy who earned over $800,000 with Kelly Yates. Firewater Fiesta was Reserve World Champion, AQHA/PRCA Barrel Horse of the Year, twice and was awarded the WPRA Horse With The Most Heart and qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 3 times.
