Ron’s hoof trimming experience began about 30 years ago, and he has done it on and off since. Last year, he started doing it more frequently and started taking customers.

❗️THE BARN WILL BE OPEN THIS WEEKEND AND CALVES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING (9/20 9/21)❗️

If you are in town for World Beef Expo, please stop by!! We are located only 45 minutes south of the fairgrounds. Just give us a call or text beforehand!

So far this year, we have had an overwhelming amount of support from our customers that we are SO grateful for! Unfortunately this has led us to not having the chance to post any of our calves for sale yet on social media. With having a first come, first served private treaty sale format, the support of all have you has left us with a lower amount of steers left for others to purchase.

HOWEVER…we still have a fine number of extremely high end state fair steers available and many heifers left up for grabs. We encourage anyone who may want to be competitive and join the Runkel team, to reach out to us. It is not too late!!! Even if we don’t have something here that aligns with your taste and values, that doesn’t mean we can’t work with you and go find you what you are looking for!
