Our family spent time ranching in this area years ago and this was sad to hear.

Sending up many, many prayers for the ranchers, farmers, residents, veterinarians, fire fighters, and anyone who is working diligently to stop the fires in the sandhills! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Nebraska — Communities across Nebraska are facing the aftermath of significant wildfire activity as high winds and dry conditions fueled rapidly spreading grass and rangeland fires. These dangerous conditions have placed homes, farmland, livestock, and critical infrastructure at risk, prompting emergency response efforts across large portions of the state.
More than 800,000 acres have burned, making this one of the most devastating wildfire events in Nebraska history.
Our hearts are heavy as we witness the impact these fires are having on Nebraska families, agricultural operations, and rural communities. We extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to all those affected.
Firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, and emergency management teams have worked around the clock under extreme conditions to protect lives and property.
Farmers and ranchers across Nebraska have been out in their fields creating firebreaks, moving equipment, and working alongside emergency crews to slow the spread of these fires. In the face of danger, many producers used tractors and tillage equipment to cut containment lines—doing everything possible to protect neighboring homes, livestock, and communities.
Their selflessness and resolve demonstrate the strength and unity of rural Nebraska communities.

Therefore, it is imperative that your veterinarian perform AT LEAST one dental exam on your horse per year to ensure that their teeth, gums, and other oral structures are healthy. Poor dental health can also have adverse effects on other areas of the body if not addressed.

🐾 Boots 🐾

Our one and only cat and he is a perfect addition to Arrow N Ranch.

Boots earns his keep (and all the spoilings he gets) by keeping mice away and the ranger seat warm. He is often found patrolling most of the ranch or napping in the sunshine. He may be in the rafters or peeking out from under a secret spot he found in the barn, but he is always a “kitty-kitty” away.

He enjoys curling up next to the fireplace during the cold months and lounging on the porch swing during the warm months.

Every ranch needs a Boots! 🩶

🤍🎀 Meet Annie 🎀🤍

Annie was the smallest of three — nothing but a sister. Full of life and is truly comical relief around here.

She has quickly become known as “Pistol Annie”. It is Annie’s world and we’re just here waiting on her every hoof and whim. 👑

Annie is a LOT, everywhere she goes. She keeps us all snickering and belly laughing. Pure entertainment. 🤭🤭🤭

Annie loves flock time. All the other lambs have no idea what she’s so excited about half the time, but her energy wears off on them and it is an epic playtime, indeed. 🤪 She loves eating, running out of the gate, then playing cat-and-mouse when it’s time to be put away. She enjoys exploring and kicking up her heels. Annie doesn’t know she’s a sheep, but believes she is half mountain goat and half unicorn. 🦄 Annie and Mira enjoy herding our chickens and Tot, our turkey…but only during the morning hours when the sun is warming everything up.
