The kind of day you raise sheep for!

Champion Suffolk Yearling Ram & Reserve Champion Suffolk Ram Overall at Iowa State Fair FFA Show

Proud to see one of the first rams raised through my own program earn this recognition at the Iowa State Fair. This is just one small step in building Top Hill Suffolks into the program I’ve envisioned.

My dad says he’s my “pride and joy,” and honestly, I don’t think I could put it any better.

Thank you to everyone who has helped, encouraged, and believed in this program along the way. Proud of this ram and excited for what’s ahead.

A special thank you to Krafka Harkema Suffolks for sponsoring the awards within the overall Suffolk Rams and Ewes

Grateful for the recognition and the people who helped it possible!

Alice Nicklaus was recognized as Runner-Up in Sheep Production Proficiency at the 98th Iowa FFA Convention & Expo. Top Hill Suffolks-Nicklaus Farms continues to grow, and this is just the beginning.

Thank you to the Iowa Club Lamb Association for sponsoring the awards, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation for sponsoring the Conference, and Iowa FFA Association making opportunities like this possible.

This yearling ewe joined our flock from the National Suffolk Sale in Springfield, Illinois, and she is already proving why we believed in her. She gave us a strong, stout Suffolk ram lamb that continues to impress us every day. Excited about what her future at Top Hill Suffolks - Nicklaus Farms holds.
