The season is winding down. Tuesday may be our last open day as the heat will make the berries deteriorate rapidly. Strawberries get smaller as the season goes on, and we are picking around overripe berries, so filling a bucket takes longer now. But, there are many ripe berries left to pick! The strawberries pictured were picked by a couple in 2 1/2 hours on Sunday morning. 55 pounds!

The season is winding down. Strawberries get smaller as the season goes on, but they are plentiful. The strawberries pictured were picked on Thursday in only 15 minutes, about 2 quarts!

Next open days will be decided after Saturday’s picking. A lot depends on the weather and the strawberries, but we would like to be open 8 am to 1 pm several days next week.

$3.25/pound

We gave our strawberries Thursday and Friday off to ripen, so the berries should be plentiful on Saturday morning. They will be a bit smaller now than on opening day. Bella’s Bakery is planning to have more cookies, cakes, and biscuits ready for Saturday.

‼️We will be open Tuesday, June 16, 8 am to 1 pm! Additional morning added due to the Wednesday weather report and closely watching the strawberries ripening‼️

Wednesday should be a very good pick day! It will be a very good day to get what you need for jam and preserves.

Opening day turn out was great! We were amazed by the dedication of our WET pickers! Thanks to all who made it out. ❤️ Thanks to Bella’s Bakery for setting up at our farm. Bella is planning to have more cakes by the slice and biscuits ready for our open days.

We’ve been picking in the rain this morning! It looks like it will clear up soon.

Thanks to Bella’s Bakery for setting up her first pop-up shop at our farm for opening day. Her offerings include pound cake and angel food cake (whole and by the slice) to enjoy with strawberries!
