Help us wish a very special someone a very happy birthday! 🎈🎂🎊

Today we’re celebrating Patti! She’s Todd’s wife, Maria’s mom, and an integral part of our Neely’s family. Although she’s more behind-the-scenes than Maria and Todd, she’s a part of every decision we make here—and she’s the one who makes sure Aunt Nancy’s Book Nook always looks festive and nice! 🥰

When your family owns a grocery store, you end up sharing them with the whole neighborhood—so today, we want to share the birthday love, too! 🫶🏻

We want to send a big “thank you” to both the groups who chose us to cater their events this weekend! 🫶🏻

First, the Wheeling division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, who hosted the largest Irish Road Bowling event in the world this past Saturday! We had such a fun time not just prepping and serving food, but also participating in the event itself! It’s one of the events we look forward to each year! 💚🤍🧡

And next, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, who hosted a picnic after the beautiful Blue Mass, which celebrated our first responders! 💙🤍❤️

We hope everyone enjoyed the made-with-love food at these events this weekend! If you tried our food at either of them, what did you think? 🤔

We do have power and we’re open for business today, but our phones and Internet are both out, so if you plan on visiting us for lunch, bring cash because our card machines won’t work without Internet! 😭
