Now that we have wrapped up our back to back flower bars, I can breathe. 😅

I wanted to post an UPDATE regarding this seasons U-PICK; so with that being said, we will be CLOSED for the remainder of the year.

Our season was short, hot, and dry. We were able to enjoy some stunning flowers for a few short weeks before a fungus took over, and unfortunately, when it hit, it killed them quickly.
Bittersweet for sure, but we can now focus on finding a home for our family, and preparing for baby girl because NEXT MONTH IS BABY MONTH! 😳😅🩷

This was the third year that Rise Church - Nashville, NC hosted a flower bar and blessed Miracle Farm with the opportunity to provide the flowers. This years turnout was record breaking and amazing! To God be the glory for providing the flowers 🌸

Thankful Thursday: What are you most THANKFUL for today?!

“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.”

I recently quoted this scripture when someone was at the farm inquiring about our bees (dead), and our sunflowers (deer/drought), and just all the things regarding our home. I laughed, but the truth is, if this season has taught me absolutely anything, it has taught me that the enemy can strip you of almost everything (your belongings, your health, your finances, your friends, family, comfort, home etc), but he can not have my relationship with Jesus. I am so thankful that my God is my strength when I am weak. I am so thankful that He never leaves me, even when I’m a total hot mess express. God is good and I’m grateful for his love and his grace.

Testimony Tuesday: Share your testimony! It doesn’t have to be your whole life story, just a few sentences to summarize how God has done a mighty work in you.

I will go first. This picture is part of my testimony. God redeemed my story after suffering three miscarriages and secondary infertility. I now have my rainbow baby, my pot of gold, and I’m due in 8 weeks with our first little girl. If you had told me in 2020 that this would be my future, I don’t know that I would have believed you. The Lord used that rainbow baby to propel me into walking away from my career; and Miracle Farm was birthed soon after. Since then, God has taken me on a journey filled with faith (and sometimes fear.) I don’t always understand what He is doing, but I’m taking this journey one step at a time, one day at a time.

We are hitting pause on U-Pick right now. The farm will be closed until further notice to allow the flowers to regenerate. The zinnias got a massive trim today, but more work needs to be done. Will keep you updated!

I may be really “behind” and I may be moving a little slow, but I’m still moving forward!

Myself and Baby Phillips have been chugging right along finally getting seeds in the ground this week.

This year’s “u-pick” may look a bit different than it has in the last couple years, but I believe we will manage just fine.
