The county fairs may be over, but the impact lasts a whole lot longer.
Behind every kid who steps into the show ring is a whole community of people who make that moment possible.
Fair board members, volunteers, 4-H leaders, mentors, buyers, suppliers, parents, families, and countless others who give their time, resources, encouragement and support.
Because it's about so much more than ribbons.
It's learning to care for something that depends on you. Showing up when you're tired. Working as a team. Handling wins with humility and disappointments with grace. And discovering just how much you are capable of along the way.
These programs help raise responsible, hard-working young people, and they truly take a village.
To everyone who played a part in making another fair season possible for these kids: thank you!
