This is our main rooster now for the silkies. We do have a splash rooster and a couple of blues that are from the main roosters line. He did come from another SOP breeder so he should add some great genetics to what we've already got going on!

Silkies are starting to lay again and checking for fertility over the next few days.

If anyone's wanting eggs, just shoot me a message. This year the majority will be blue and splash with the potential of black!

This is absolutely something I have experience as well and it gets to be very frustrating. Especially when it's someone that has no intention of actually purchasing from me. I don't mind sharing my knowledge with people but at least attempt to figure out the information on your own. I have spent countless hours reading and learning about chickens. Google is an amazing resource and you should absolutely use it!

I HATE to make this post!
I want to preface by I love to help where I can and if you ask for help 9 out of 10 times I can! BUT that also doesn't mean to take advantage of me either! Over the past few months I've had people ask me endless questions. How do I s*x my quail? What's wrong with my chick? How do I fix this? What predators kill like this? Ect! The kicker! (THEY HAVE NEVER BOUGHT, TRADED OR EVEN HELP SUPPORT OUR HOMESTEAD) I do not mind helping at all BUT GOOGLE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND! I am 22 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old plus a home and animals to care for I don't have time to sit down and chat about something you can find right on Google! I'm sorry but I just don't. I absolutely wish I did. I just don't! I'm sorry if this offends you but I will block you from my page and not sell to you if your not willing to do your own research! Now if you come to me and say I'm getting mixed responses or results what's your opinion or experience I will gladly answer!

Just curious! I have a broody trio on eggs already 🤣 I swear silkies never stop trying to have babies 😅

I'm so ready for this snow to be gone... It's soooo cold and I'm fairly certain my silkies are not enjoying this weather at all 🤣

I hate that I have to even make such a blunt post but after the year I had last year, I'm not going to deal with those problems again....

For anyone that may have missed it, I will only have silkie hatching eggs this year.

These will include blue, black and splash silkies. I cannot guarantee what colors you will get because I have a blue, black, and splash rooster as well as blue, black and splash hens.

Hatching eggs will be pick up only and will be $60 this year.

I will not have chicks at all.

I may have grow outs later in the year but all will be pet quality.

***Please do not order eggs from me if you do not plan on actually coming to get them. I had far too many people last year have me get eggs and set them aside for them only to have them not show up and waste my time. I will not be dealing with that this year.
