I sold the farm today.

That’s probably a shock to most of you, but it’s been a long time coming. I have exhausted myself trying different avenues and schedules at work to afford myself the best opportunity for success on the farm, as well as the highest level of personal happiness. While I do not regard the farm as a failure, it’s become clear to me that my efforts, in this location, at this time, will not lead to the vision and success I am hoping to achieve.

That being said, I am grateful for all I have learned, all the fellow farmers I have met, and every customer that spent so much as $1 on the foods I produced. While I do not know when or where, I will be farming again one day.

I hope that in this next year you will continue to support small farms, continue to grow your own food, and continue to become your healthiest, happiest self.

First market of the year is tomorrow 6/11 in New Era, MI from 4-7pm (1820 Ray Ave New Era, MI 49446). I will not be at any other markets this season due to work scheduling issues. If you can’t make it out, you can always message to set up a farm pickup 😊🍓🥕🥒🥬🧄🍠

It’s been a busy few weeks at the farm. I’ve tried to get as many crops in the ground as possible. The warm weather even has me risking things like green beans (and soon some corn) to a potential late frost. Still plenty more planting to go 💪🏻🍓🌶️🧄🍅🥔🌽🍠🫑🥒🥕🥬🌳
