It's been a couple months since we made it to a rabbit show, and we were way overdue. We've spent the time focusing on breeding and improving our herd. The kiddos have several awesome chocolates, lilacs, and castors getting primed for convention!
Alex is still working on putting rabbits on the table, so we only brought two older mini rex for him to put up that are super used to him.
With the little team Alex brought he picked up 2 BOS with a broken LILAC! The Lilac doe he brought got 2nd all weekend to a beautiful Lilac from the Ramos family. She was gorgeous!
On the Open side, Chad and Lizz picked up several BOB and BOS with the Florida Whites and Mini Satin.

To make things easier on Alex, he's going to be showing Mini Rex in Open at non-coop shows. That way we can help him out when needed. Since Chad and I have our own breed, we will be reducing the amount of Mini Rex on our show team, and mainly just be breeding for Convention and Nationals.
We are looking to only have 4 on our team at a time. With that being said, we have several from our show string that are just going to waste. One just got 1st Otter Senior Buck at Convention.
We have their parents, and can always remake them, so we will be offering them to local youth at a discounted rate. These are quality rabbits that we wouldn't usually part with.
I'll get photos of them over the next several days, and can deliver them to Hereford Friday night only.

Just a reminder to all exhibitors. When posting your wins, if it's a rabbit you purchased from another breeder, it's proper etiquette to include the rabbitry name before the tattoo. Not doing so repeatedly is a quick way to get on someone's "Do Not Sale" list.
