Snyder’s Apiaries has reluctantly decided to discontinue the sale of package bees and nucs. We are also discontinuing the sale of beekeeping supplies. This decision is a result of the closing of the Mann Lake - Wilkes-Barre PA warehouse. Thereby requiring the shipment of all supplies from their Minnesota or Kentucky facilities. We’ve been doing this for 45 years and have made the decision to retire from these activities. However, Snyder’s Apiaries will continue to keep bees and sell local and varietal packaged and bulk honey and honey containers.
A much younger couple, Travis & Lindsey Gorleski, the owners of ‘Parkton Bees and Honey’ located at 2915 Kidds Schoolhouse Rd, Parkton Maryland have agreed to take over the sale of 5 frame nucs and spring queens. For more information check out their Parkton Bees and Honey website. They will be using the same nuc vendor that we have used However, they will not be selling package bees this year. You can contact them by email or by phone at 301-395-4298
We give our heartfelt thanks to all that have supported our business over the years and wish you all good luck in all your endeavors and especially your beekeeping adventures.
Best Regards,
Lloyd, Ruth Anne and Laura
