🎉 YOU DID IT AGAIN! 🎉

We were completely SOLD OUT at the Urbana Farmers Market by 9:15 this morning! 🥬💚

We truly cannot thank everyone enough for continuing to show up, support us, and choose Kountry Fresh lettuce. Your support of our little aquaponic greenhouse means more to us than you know!

As for this upcoming week… we’re still not quite sure what it’s going to look like. 👀 Right now, everything is still pretty small, but thankfully we have a couple more days to let that lettuce GROW! 🌱

We’re hoping the sunshine decides to come out and work a little magic ☀️ while our hardworking tilapia keep swimming around and working overtime behind the scenes. 🐟😂 Between the sunshine, the fish, and a little patience, we’re hoping to have another great week ahead!

WE'RE HIRING!

Blue Dragonfly Catering is now hiring a Kitchen Assistant to assist with catering operations year-round and seasonally in the Greenhouse Café at Allerton Park in Monticello, IL (open April through October).

The Greenhouse Café focuses on fast, fresh, casual takeaway, with a creative menu in a beautiful setting. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to take initiative as they contribute to our small team.

Training is available and there are opportunities for advancement!

🥬 REMINDER — GET THOSE ORDERS IN EARLY! 🥬

We’ll be starting bright and early Thursday morning filling and preparing your fresh Kountry Fresh lettuce orders, so please get your order in as soon as possible!

🚫 We will NOT be at the Monticello Farmers Market this Thursday.

But you still have a couple of ways to get your lettuce:

🏡 Thursday: Pick up at our Greenhouse in White Heath
🚗 Friday morning: Local delivery to our regular delivery communities

Since quantities are limited, ordering early is the best way to make sure you get what you’re looking for before we sell out!

🎥 A little look behind the scenes at Kountry Fresh! 🐟🥬

Unfortunately, we will NOT be at the Monticello Farmers Market tomorrow, Thursday. We’re giving our lettuce a little extra growing time so we can continue providing the fresh, quality heads you’ve come to expect from us.

🥬 We WILL be at the Urbana Farmers Market this Saturday! Come out and see us and grab your Kountry Fresh lettuce while supplies last.

🚚 Friday morning deliveries are still available! If you’d like delivery to one of our local communities, please get your order in as early as possible Thursday morning.

⚠️ We currently have a limited supply of all varieties, and once we reach the point where we would be cutting into next week’s harvest, we will stop taking orders. We want to make sure we have plenty growing for next week, too!

So if you need lettuce for the weekend, don’t wait—get those orders in early! 🥬💚

We just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support our greenhouse! Your business, patience, and kind words mean so much to us. 💚

Romaine and chopped lettuce will be available THURSDAY ONLY this week as we give some of our lettuce a little extra time to grow and reach the quality you know and love.

If you’d like to pick up at the greenhouse tomorrow, please get your order in early so we can have it freshly harvested and ready for you!
